I am not sure what size storage unit I need. How do I figure that out?
The 8’x10’ storage is the size of a large walk-in closet or small bedroom. The 8’x12’ is approximately the size of a small bedroom. The 8’x20’ will hold approximately the contents of a 1 bedroom apartment. 8’x28’ and 8’x30’ will hold approximately the contents of a 3 bedroom family home. The 8’x40’ will hold approximately the contents of a 3-4 bedroom home and garage items.
What type storage units do you have?
For ease of accessibility Pioneer Self Storage provides outdoor units. These are drive-up storage units located on the ground level. With Pioneer Self Storage you can load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck. You do not need to go up any stairs to access your unit.
What do I need to rent a storage unit from Pioneer Self Storage?
You will need to provide a state-issued ID card or driver’s license.
How do much does it cost for vehicle, RV or trailer storage?
  • Day Parking 10.00 per day or $90.00 per month
  • Auto $30.00 per month

When can I move my belongings into a storage space?
You can move them in after you have signed your storage rental agreement and have paid your first month’s storage fee.
How long of a lease am I required to sign?
All of our storage space leases are month-to-month. Your rental with us can be short-term or long-term whichever suits your needs.
Do I need to buy my own lock?
Yes, you will need to purchase your own lock. We have locks available for purchase.
Can I work on a boat or car if I rent a storage unit from you?
Per lease agreement all vehicles, trailers must be running, in good working order and must be registered to the person renting the storage space.
How can I insure my belongings stored at Pioneer Self Storage?
You will need to purchase insurance to cover your belongings. If your homeowner or renter’s insurance does not cover stored items, we are happy to provide a referral. We recommend our customers contact their existing insurance company first because many offer discounts to existing customers.
What security measures are in place to protect my items stored?
Pioneer Self Storage offers reinforced steel storage units. The property is surrounded with fencing and barbed wire. Additionally, we have electronic security measures and set hours of operation.
How do I pay my bill?
You can pay your bill with cash, check or debit card. We reserve the right to request payment via certified check or credit/debit card.
Do you sell moving supplies?
We partner with a moving company who shares office space with us. They offer a wide variety of moving supplies to help you in your next move.
What am I not allowed to store in my unit?
You cannot store live animals, perishable goods or illegal property/substances, or items with a noxious odor in the storage space. Also prohibited are explosives, ammunition, used oil, dangerous chemicals or corrosive materials. If you have any questions about storage rules for a specific item please just ask us.
